Oppo has launched today their new smartphone in India under A series known as Oppo A9. This phone is targetted for mid-segment and comes in two colors of Marble Green and Fluorite Purple. Priced at Rs. 15,490, this smartphone will go on sale from 20th July 2019 across both online platforms and offline stores.
The Oppo A9 sports a 6.53 inch FHD+ Waterdrop screen (2340 x 1080 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection having screen ratio of 90.70%. This phone is powered by
Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor paired with 4GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage which can be extended up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone has Hyper-boost feature for running games like PUBG, Asphalt etc without any lag as claimed by Oppo. This phone also supports smart features like navigation gestures, smart assistant and cycling mode.
For photography, this phone is equipped with 16 MP + 2 MP rear cameras with LED flash having features of Ultra Night Mode for clicking pictures in low light and the Dazzle Color mode which identifies the scene of the photo and restores the real details, brightness and colors—with the help of AI technology. For selfies, this phone has 16 MP front camera which is touted to recognize over 130 forehead points and a face slimming feature. Besides this, the front camera is said to be capable to register and save the consumers preferred beautification mode and will automatically apply it the next time the consumer clicks a selfie.
This is Dual SIM supporting phone and runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It is packed with 4020mAh battery. For connectivity, this phone provides options of Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.3mm audio jack, FM,
GPS etc. This phone has fingerprint sensor on the back.
