Oppo has launched two smartphones in India – OPPO F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ 5G. Both the phones sport a 6.43” Punch-Hole (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with screen-to-body ratio of 90.8% and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. These phones have In-Display Fingerprint 3.0 sensor for biometric unlock. The F19 Pro+ 5G is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 800U 7nm processor whereas the F19 Pro is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Helio P95 12nm processor. These phones are packed with 4310mAh battery with 50W Flash Charge fast charging support for the F19Pro+ 5G and 30W VOOC Flash Charge support for the F19 Pro.
For photography, these phones are equipped with Quad Camera at the back comprising of main 48MP Camera, 8MP Wide-Angle Camera, 2MP Portrait Mono Cameras and 2MP Macro Mono Camera. The F19 Pro+ camera has features of AI Highlight Portrait Video which optimises video portraits by automatically detecting and adjusting for light. Be it low light night or bright backgrounds, portrait videos on the OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G are vivid, with sharp details, balance and natural skin tones as claimed by Oppo. Once the AI determines the type of video you’re filming, it will correspondingly apply either or both Ultra Night Video and HDR Video algorithms to brighten up the shot. The Ultra Night Video leverages proprietary algorithms to ensure more dynamic night-time videos and photos. It also has feature of Dual-View Video for keeping both your rear and front cameras on at the same time.
For selfies, both the phones come with 16MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The F19 Pro+ 5G also offers a Dual Network Channel feature that speeds up your connection by connecting to a Wi-Fi and a 4G/5G channel. This is especially useful when you’re in a crowded environment like a cafe or a conference hall, where the Wi-Fi signal is spread too thin.
The F19 Pro+ 5G comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage whereas the F19 Pro comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128/ 256GB storage. Storage of both the variants can be extended up to 256GB with microSD card. Both the phones run on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1. These phones offer connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C and Dual 5G (F19 Pro+ 5G)
OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G is priced at INR 25,990 and OPPO F19 Pro at INR 21,490 ( 8+128 GB) and INR 23490 (8+ 256 GB). Pre-booking has started and sale will start on March 17th. Both the phones come in two colors – Space Silver and Fluid Black. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Oppo F19 Pro will go on sale from March 25.
