After launching Oppo F3 Plus in the month of March this year, the Chinese brand Oppo who have made selfie experience on their smartphones a sensation, has launched today Oppo F3 smartphone. The Oppo F3 is toned down version of Oppo F3 Plus which was launched at Rs. 30,990. The Oppo F3 launched today is priced Rs. 19,990 and will be available from 13th May in Gold and Rose Gold colors.
The F3 isavailable for pre-order exclusively from Flipkart and also on offline stores from today till May 12 and the first sale will begin from 13th May. It will be available online on Flipkart exclusively.
The Oppo F3 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and protection of Gorilla Glass 5 compared to 6.2 FHD display of F3 Plus. It is powered by MediaTek 6750 octa-core 1.5 GHz processor with Mali T860 compared to Snapdragon 652 processor used on F3 Plus. The F3 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 256GB.
On the imaging front, Oppo has not tinkered much with the camera specifications on this phone. Like F3 Plus, this phone also comes with front facing Dual Camera set-up of 16MP with 76.4-degree wide-angle lens, 1/3.1-inch sensor, f/2.0 aperture and secondary 8MP front camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens. The wider and group selfies can be clicked with the help of Dual cameras on the front. This phone is also mounted with 13 MP primary camera compared to 16MP on F3 Plus with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF and 1/3-inch sensor.
The F3 is packed with 3200mAh battery compard to 4000mAh on F3 Plus. The F3 also incorporates fast Fingerprint sensor on the home button which unlocks the phone in a mere 0.2 second.
This phone has unibody metal design and comes with three SIM slots for putting two SIMS and one MicroSD card simultaneously. For connectivity, it offers options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG. This phone runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with ColorOS 3.0 on the top.
