Redmi India, a sub brand of Mi India, has today announced the launch of the tenth generation of their Redmi Note series in India comprising of Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10. The Redmi Note 10 series devices come with a refreshed EVOL design and with up to 108MP camera, up to 120Hz Super AMOLED display.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max comes with a quad camera setup featuring a 108MP primary camera, 8MP Ultrawide lens with 118 degrees field of view, 5MP Super-Macro and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera for selfie, face unlock and videography is 16MP in display camera with the tiniest punch hole made and measuring a mere 2.96mm in diameter. Redmi Note 10 Pro Max features the latest 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 camera sensor whhic is the third generation of the 108MP camera sensor and is the thinnest ever designed – 15% thinner than its previous generation. The ISOCELL Plus and Smart-ISO technologies claim to deliver wide dynamic range and optimal exposure. It also features 9-in-1 pixel binning technology thus offering large 2.1µm pixel size for an unparalleled low-light performance.
The MIUI camera app comes with features such as Night mode 2.0, VLOG mode, Dual video, Pro Video mode, Magic Clone, Long exposure mode.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max sports a 6.67 inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, with 1200 nits of peak brightness, 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and HDR10 support.
Redmi Note 10 series introduces an all new EVOL design language that brings a radical change in the overall design on Redmi devices. Exceptional to look at from all sides, the back panel features a dual tone premium matte frosted glass back, which is a first for the Note series.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max also boasts a dual stereo speaker setup. It also retains the 3.5mm jack as well as the IR blaster to ensure maximum accessibility. For secure unlocking, the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint, with support for double-tap gestures.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset with Adreno 618 GPU. This is an 8nm Processor featuring Kryo 470 architecture which clocks up to 2.3GHz. Redmi Note 10 Pro Max features a multi-layered graphite sheet for improved heat dissipation and uninterrupted gaming performance. The device features upto 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with upto 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is packed with a massive 5020mAh battery with a 33W in-box fast charger that fuels the device from 0 to 59 percent in 30 minutes.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max sports a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that keeps the device protected from accidental falls and scratches. It also comes with IP52 rating coupled with rubberised ports for protection against dust and water ingress.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro has same specifications as of Redmi Note 10 Pro Max except that it sports a quad-camera set-up, comprising a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor along with a 5MP Super Macro camera, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor. This phone has also 16MP selfie camera.
Redmi Note 10 sports a 6.43 inch Super AMOLED display with 1100nits peak brightness and 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The display comes with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. To protect the device from accidental falls and drops, the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. For secure unlocking, the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that supports double-tap gestures and AI face unlock. It also has the IR Blaster and 3.5mm jack.
Redmi Note 10 is the first smartphone in India to be powered by Snapdragon 678 processor featuring 8x Kryo 460 clocked at up to 2.2GHz. The device also features a Snapdragon Adreno 612 graphics chipset and upto 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with upto 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It is packed with a big 5000mAh battery, and 33W charger-in-box which juices up from 0 to 67 percent in 30 minutes
Redmi Note 10 comes with a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front there is a 13MP camera for selfies.
Like the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 also comes with IP52 rating for protection against dust and water ingress. It also features surge protection, corrosion resistant ports and rubberised ports to ensure longevity of the smartphone.
