Samsung has announced Galaxy S21 FE 5G which is tweaked version of Galaxy S21 and is also known as Fan Edition. This phone sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLE 2X Display (2340 x 1080 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. This phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC or Exynos 2100 depending upon the markets and is paired with 6GB / 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB storage. This phone is loaded with 12MP primary camea with f/1.8 wide-angle lens, 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. For selfies, it houses 32MP front camera with f/2.2 lens.
This phone is packed with 4500mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging and also has feature of Wireless power share. This phone offers connectivity options of 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It also has an in-display (optical) fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 12 with One UI 4 on top. This phone is water resistant with IP68 certification.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes in four colors of White, Lavender, Graphite and Olive. Its price starts at USD 699. It is expected to hit Indian market shortly.
