The Galaxy S3 Neo, which was listed on Samsung India homepage few days ago without the details of its price, has now got the price tag for it. The Samsung India e-store has now listed Galaxy S3 Neo with price of Rs. 26,200, but does not mention the exact date of delivery. The e-store site also show that the smartphone is not in stock. Probably, the stock must be on the way and one can expect that the delivery would start sometimes next week.
The Galaxy S3 features a 4.8-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and expandable storage upto 64GB.The Neo version runs Android Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and is a Dual-SIM smartphone with support for GSM+GSM.
The S3 Neo is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and CMOS sensor, and is adorned with a 1.9-megapixel front-camera. For connectivity, the Galaxy S3 Neo supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and 3G. The smartphone has dimensions of 136.6×70.7×8.6mm and weighs about 132 grams without battery. This smartphone encompasses Accelerometer,Geo-magnetic,Gyro,Light,Proximity and RGB sensors.The Galaxy S3 Neo is packed with a 2100mAh battery, and will be available in Black, Blue, Brown, Grey, Maroon, Pink and White colors.
The Galaxy S3 Neo also features Samsung’s prominent features including S Voice, Smart Alert, Smart Stay, S Beam, AllShare Play, Buddy photo share etc.
We were expecting that the S3 Neo would be priced in the range of Rs. 20,000. May be Samsung has some other ideas in store for the prospective customers. They may come out with some cashback scheme the way they have come out with the S5 smartphone, which will be available from 11th April.
