Samsung Galaxy S5 which will be available from 11th April in India, has still not got the exact official price. At the time of the launch, Samsung has gave a hint that it will be priced between Rs, 51,000 to Rs. 53,000. Samsung India is still going ahead with the pre-booking against a deposit of Rs. 1500, but has not declared the price till the writing of this article. But, we can say with some logic that the Galaxy S5 will carry a MRP tag of Rs. 51,500. This figure has not revealed to us by any Samsung official nor we have tried to contact them to elicit the price detail.
Our assumption is based on the fact that the Samsung has announced only yesterday that if the S5 is pre-booked through the CROMA or RELIANCE DIGITAL and paid via Citi Bank Credit Card then the consumers would be entitled for 20% cash back. However, the cashback amount will not exceed Rs. 10,300 in any case. If you calaculate 20% cashback on 51,500 then you get the figure of Rs. 10,300. Based on this, we have arrived at the price figure of Rs. 51,500 of the Galaxy S5. We are quite confident that our assumed price figure would match with the official price of the S5, which would be out in a day or so.
However, you can get the Galaxy S5 smartphone for Rs. 41,500 if you opt to pay by Citibank Credit Card. How? Please read our blog : http://www.techvorm.com/can-get-samsung-galaxy-s5-approx-rs-42000-via-citi-credit-card/
