South Korean smartphones giant Samsung has unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone the Galaxy Ace Style. This smartphone will be available globally in Cream White and Dark Gray colors beginning in April. However, Samsung has not revealed its price and the roll-out details for the different markets were also not shared. As reported earlier in the media, the Galaxy Ace Style will be launched first in Germany with the price tag of Euro 250 to 300.
The Galaxy ACE Style runs the latest Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with Samsung’s own intuitive touch-user interface, TouchWiz Essence, on top.. The new Galaxy ACE Style features a 4-inch TFT display with a WVGA having 480×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. This smartphone is equipped with a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The Galaxy ACE style also comes preloaded with ChatON, which is Samsung’s own instant messaging service. This device is packed with a 1500mAh battery and for connectivity, it supports Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,EDGE, GPRS &3G.
The Galaxy ACE Style disappoints in its RAM capacity and Samsung should have provided minimum 1GB if not 2GB. This phone is targetted for the mid-segment and it is expected that it will first make its debut in emerging markets including India.
