South Koean electronics giant Samsung has today announced the Level series of portable audio headphones for smartphones and tablets. These four mobile audio products are – Level Over, Level On, Level In, and Level Box. All the four headphones allow users to take calls while listening to any type of audio and will ensure the best sound clarity. Samsung has not disclosed the prices of above four products. The Samsung Level series will start retailing in mid-May in most markets around the world.
Level Over is flagship over-ear headphone, which has a 50 mm Dynamic Driver made with high performance Neodymium, which is claimed to be 30% stronger than regular magnets, and results in delivering deeper and natural sound. This headphone features HD organic sound and has ergonomic design. Level Over also uses a hybrid noise cancellation mechanism, for the headphone inside and with a mic on the outside that picks up sounds to block for outputting perfectly crystal clear music. This headphone mesures 175x190x78 mm, and weighs 350 grams.
Moreover, the users can download the Samsung Level application, specially designed to enhance the Level Over experience, from either Google Play Store or Samsung Apps. One can also customize their audio experience to fit any type of music, media, or listening environment through a comprehensive EQ system called Samsung SoundAlive. According to Samsung, with SoundAlive equalizer, Samsung Level Over adjusts the EQ to create the perfect balance of sound. It also enables users to further apply 3D audio, bass and clarity effects to every media type, including music, streaming services, games and movies. SoundAlive has 25 settings for different scenarios like Pop, Rock, Jazz or Classic and so on. The Samsung Level app also has a protective and smart volume monitor to prevent hearing loss along with enhanced text-to-speech capabilities.
On the other hand, Level On has combination of compact style, comfort and offer an immersive, on-the-go premium sound experience. This headphone measures161.75×181.4×70.4 mm and weighs 209.8 grams. The Level In which weighs just 15.7 grams, provides an immersive sonic environment for any activity with a powerful three-way speaker, and one can enjoy rich sounds that cover all the low, mid, and high sound naturally and with clear sound separation.
Level Box is a premium and compact Bluetooth speaker which has a metal design complete with a full metal grille. It has a large (56mm) stereo speaker and a passive radiator, to deliver high quality sound. Its other features include noise reduction and echo cancellation, and its built-in microphone deliver clear voice. Moreover, one can place a Near-Field Communications (NFC) enabled smartphone near the Level Box to make a connection. Devices without NFC capabilities can also be connected through the speaker’s one touch Bluetooth pairing system. This speaker can be controlled with its built-in buttons to play or stop a song, adjust the volume, and even accept or reject calls. Users can enjoy up to 15 hours of playback through the Level Box’s rechargeable battery.
The Level Box measures 164.3×62.3×69.2 mm, and its weight is 600 grams.
