OnePlus has announced that their upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro which is scheduled to launch in US, Europe and India simultaneously on 14th May has got an A+ Top Tier Display Rating from DisplayMate for its record-breaking display, making it one of the very best smartphone displays on the market. DisplayMate is the world’s leading evaluator of displays and is well known for conducting an advanced series of comprehensive in-depth lab tests and measurements for smartphone displays as stated by OnePlus.
According to OnePlus, the OnePlus 7 Pro was put to the most rigorous and comprehensive evaluation processes and this phone has not only exceeded expectations but also raised the bar for smartphone displays across the industry.
Whether it’s the colour accuracy, brightness, contrast accuracy or pixel density, the OnePlus 7 Pro scored exceptionally well across every parameter, providing a markedly better, sharper, and more enjoyable viewing experience to the viewer. Additionally, users can also adjust the display’s colour gamut and colour temperature to get the most suitable screen calibration for themselves as further stated by the company.

So far, what we have gathered from different sources is that OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels resolution) with 90Hz refresh rate. The display will have no notch. The display will have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This phone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform built on 7nm FinFET process. This phone will come with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB ROM which will not be extendable. This phone is expected to be packed with a 4000mAh battery with Warp Charge 30 (30W) fast charging.This phone will be armed with triple rear cameras comprising of 48MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture, secondary camera of 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, this phone will come with Pop-up selfie camera of most probably 16MP sensor. This phone will be shipped with Android 9.0 Pie with layer of latest OxygenOS.
OnePlus is also expected to launch OnePlus 7 alongside 7 Pro which will be without Pop-up selfie camera and expected to come with Dual Rear cameras.
