Upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro will Come with Android Q Beta

OnePlus has announced the availability of new Android Q Beta on its OnePlus 6/6T smartphones at the annual Google I/O conference. The Android Q beta platform is currently available for download for OnePlus 6 and 6T users and will be available for OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14th. Android Beta for OnePlus 7 will be available for download in the coming weeks. The official Android Q platform will be available for download later this year as stated by OnePlus.

Android Q is the latest OS announced by Google and will be the first operating system to support 5G connectivity. This OS has various features such as support for foldable devices, Dark Mode quite useful for OLED display for save on battery, Live Caption, Smart Reply, Focus Mode and parental controls etc.

Updates including the new gesture-based navigation, Dark Theme and privacy enhancements all contribute to the burden-less experience that OnePlus strives to bring to its users.”

Last year, OnePlus released a software maintenance schedule to provide the company’s community with the best in class software maintenance and upgrade cycle including 2 years of regular software updates from the release date of the phone and an additional year of Android security patch updates every 2 months.
