Vivo brand of China has announced today V series of smartphones for Indian market. Under this series, the first smartphone Vivo V1 will be available in India from 17th July. The second smartphone under this series will be V1 Max, which will hit the market in the month of August. These phones are in the range of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. Vivo India has not disclosed the exact price of these two variants.
The tagline of V series of smartphones is Play Hi-Fi, Live Smart and the company claims that these smartphones are designed to render Hi-Fi music experience to the young generation and music enthusiasts.
The Vivo V1 is a Dual-SIM smartphone and will supports Indian 4G LTE networks. It features a 5-inch full HD screen, and runs on Funtouch 2.1 Operating System based on Android Lollipop 5.0. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon, 64 bit Octa-Core processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM, which can be extended upto 128GB via microSD card. It is also packed with 2300mAh battery with Battery Stamina Mode.
The Vivo V1 is equipped with 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel wide-angle front cameras with 6P lenses and F2.0 aperture for minimizing the noise in the picture. The cameras are claimed to be capable to take vivid shots in both bright and dark environments.
As stated by the company, this phone has ultra slim curvy design and its metallic frame and durable tempered glass panel showcases superior craftsmanship. Currently, this phone will be available in Silver & Gold colors.

Vivo India has not shared yet details of V1 Max smartphone.
