Xiaomi has launched today the Mi QLED TV in India which boasts of support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG). With its Reality Flow feature, it offers a blur-free viewing experience while watching favourite sports or playing favourite games.
The Mi QLED TV 4K has bezel-less horizon display with a 96% screen to body ratio. It has aluminum alloy frames with sandblasted metallic finish and comes in Metallic Grey colour. This TV has 55 inch screen with resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Its 4K panel is claimed to come with better saturated colours and a wider colour spectrum (100% NTSC). This is topped with Mi’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine especially tuned to cater to Indian audiences delivering rich and real world detail and texture as further claimed by Xiaomi.
This TV is equiped with 30W 6 speaker system (4 full range drivers, 2 tweeters), Frequency range 60-20KHz with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. It is powered by MTK 64 bit Quad core A55 CPU with Mali G52 MP2 and is combined with 2GB RAM and 32GB of Storage. It comes with three next gen HDMI 2.1 compatible ports to support next gen consoles out of the box. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) automatically switches the TV to game mode and has an extremely low input lag of just 5ms at 4K @60fps. It comes with ports such as HDMI 2.1 x 3, USB x 2, Ethernet, Optical x 1 and 3.5mm x 1.
It runs on Android 10 with the latest version of Patchwall which brings more than 25+ content partners, with recent onboarding of DiscoveryPlus and Lionsgate (coming soon). In addition to this, PatchWall brings a bunch of features such as Universal search, User Centre, Kids Mode, Smart Recommendations and Live TV. It supports Google Assistant and has Chromecast built-in.
This TV comes with Mi Remote with features of Mi Quick Mute ( Double tap volume down key to mute), Mi Quick Setting ( Long press Mi button to access picture, sound and more settings) and Mi Quick Wake ( Turn on TV in less than 5 sec).
Priced at Rs. 54,999 the Mi QLED TV 4K will be available on mi.com, Mi Home, Flipkart and all retail stores including Vijay Sales on 21st Dec at 12 Noon.
