At an event in China, Xiaomi has announced Redmi Note 8 Pro which is successor of Redmi Note 7 Pro. Highlights of this phone is its 64MP primary rear camera alongwith three other cameras. It gets facelift in design also compared to Redmi Note 7 Pro as it comes with improved glass panel on the back. This phone comes in three variants of 6GB RAM+64GB/128GB ROM and 8GB RAM+128GB ROM. This phone will be available in three colors of Jade Green, Ice White and Grey colors.
This phone is armed with 64MP camera having Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor, 8MP120-degree wide-angle sensor, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. For selfies, this phone has 20MP AI front camera.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro sports a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with small notch, 3D glass having an aspect ratio of 19:9. This phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T processor with a dedicated HyperEngine and Game Turbo 2.0 for better optimisation for playing graphic-intensive games. It also has liquid cooling feature to address heating issues. This phone is packed with 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging and Quick Charge 3.0 support.
For connectivity, this phone offers features of Dual 4G VoLTE, BT 5, NFC, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack. It runs on Android Pie with layer of MIUI 10. This phone has rear fingerprint sensor.
