Yahoo has introduced the ability to manage Gmail accounts via Yahoo mail app. Earlier, Yahoo had introduced multiple mailbox management for Outlook.com, Hotmail and AOL Mail, which according to the company has been well received. Multiple mailbox support for Gmail within Yahoo Mail is available now in the Yahoo Mail app and on the desktop browser. To connect Gmail account, users need to go into their Account Settings in the Yahoo Mail mobile app or on the desktop.
With the updated Yahoo mail app, the users can now manage multiple email accounts and can choose with the help of this app to send messages to different email providers. With the updated Yahoo mail app, you can sign in to your Gmail accounts through Yahoo account key, without the need to memorize complicated passwords for different email accounts.
This updated app also incorporates many other features such as :
- You can add photos and videos, GIFs, files and links by clicking on the “+” sign when composing a new message
- You can search message, files and photos from all your connected mailboxes
- With smart contacts manager, it makes suggestions for who you should email based on your habits. It also displays contact cards with email addresses, phone numbers, social media info etc.
