As you might be aware that IPL is being telecasted live on youtube for the Indian users. The good thing about this is that the viewers are no longer dependent on their TV sets for match coverage. They can log on to youtube and view matches live directly without paying a single cent. However, this is good for only those who are accessing youtube from India (Or Indian proxy :-p). The live streaming of IPL matches on YouTube will not be available for users in the United States. This move is by the IPL think tank to mint more money from the US users. For US users, the stream will be available on satellite internet like HughesNet Satellite Internet, etc. This being said, those who are not viewing youtube from India or have youtube blocked in their office’s, don’t have the privilege of watching live matches on youtube.
In this post, i will be sharing with you some ways to view live ipl matches and make sure that every one enjoys this fascinating tournament. Following are some of the links using which you can watch live stream of ipl matches on your computer (and mobile) screens :
1. Youtube Official IPL channel (I know you are already aware of this)
2. CricTime (Requires flash)
3. UStream (Difficult to find useful feeds but can be tried for)
4. Live On Mobile Phone (Yup, its also available on mobile. Though the feed is yet to go live)
5. Mobile Streaming (Another Link. Download the application for your carrier.)
6. Use Proxy To View IPL on youtube
I have personally tested the options 1, 2, 4 and 5. So, i believe these links should work for you too (except for 1st link which will not be accessible outside India). If you have any other way of watching IPL outside India then do share with us 🙂

Reason might be that the organisers (of ipl) didn’t want to loose money by telecasting matches for free in USA.
