As per media reports, Thiruvananthapuram based Telmoco Development Labs Pvt Ltd engaged in electronics research and mobile technologies has come out with a Tablet PC – Attitude Daksha, a 7″ inch tablet variant for Rs 5,399 inclusive of all taxes.
Attitude Daksha has following salient features
- Capacitive 5 point touch screen
- 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor
- 512 MB DDR3 RAM
- HDMI port
- Micro SD slot
- 3.5 mm audio out
- Micro USB port and having OTG connector for 3G Dongle and RJ 45lAN cable
- 1080p full HD video streaming
- 400 MHz GPU for advanced flash Apps, Interactive Apps and full HD videos
- 3,800 mAh li-Pol battery which gives a back up of over 6 hours with WiFi on
- Android 3.2 (Honeycomb)
“Even though the Indian media tablets market witnessed high decibel launches by the world’s leading vendors, the Tablet PC market in India is a niche market that is quickly picking up the pace in terms of adoption,” said C.R. Nijesh, chairman and executive director, Telmoco at the launch.
Attitude Daksha is initially set to target schools, professional institutions, and corporate houses and will be available in the market from May 15. It can be ordered online from Telmoco website.
This tablet can give tough competition to the government’s Aakash tablet, if at all that tablet is launched despite many promises by the government. Aakash tablet is facing lot of technical and commercial hurdles and it will be a wonder if it is launched and performs successfully. But the entry-level takers of tablets have many choices of tablets to choose from and Attitude Daksha is one of them. Only the coming weeks will tell how successful is this tablet.
To Every One… Don’t Buy this Paper Weight Tab. I had Purchased TAB 1 on Jan 2012 and It was not working from the first day itself, Then they are replaced one after one week… Within 4 months that’s Battery is gone wrong and back up is 15 Mins. Then I send the same to NXG for service and after 4 days they are asking additional Amount for replacing the battery.
More over while Charging the battery time you can’t use/ work on this Tab, Screen will not be respond.
Second thing is tabs date and time will be changing every reboot, so you need to change the time and date before going to application store and browsing.
Build Quality is Very Very Bad compare to any Brand like HCL, IBall…
