POCO today LAUNCHED the next phone in the F series India, the POCO F4 5G. It comes with superior ergonomics and a premium glass design and is the thinnest model in the POCO lineup to date with 7.7mm thickness. This phone sports a 6.67″ E4 AMOLED display (2400 x 1080 pixels) with features of adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and up to 360 Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of 1,300 nits & 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10 +, Dolby Vision and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
This phone is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 870 7nm processor with Adreno 650 GPU and is paired with
6GB / 8GB LPPDDR5 RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage or 12GB LPPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage which is not extendable. This phone is packed with 4,500mAh (typ) battery and 67W Sonic fast charging which is claimed to take only 37 minutes to charge up to 100%.
On the camera front, this phone is armed with 64 MP main camera with OIS supported by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 119 degree FOV and 2MP macro camera. POCO F4 5G has a 20MP snapper at the front for capturing selfies. The rear camera supports 4K recording at 60FPS. It comes with various features including Vlog Mode, Night Mode, Panorama, Long exposure, Time lapse, Slow motion. THE POCO F4 5G hasd also introduced a collection of various software-driven movie effects such as Magic zoom, slow shutter and time freeze for a seamless content creation.
This phone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and comes with side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also comes with an IR blaster and is IP53 protected making the device splash and dust resistant. For connectivity, this phone has features of support for 10 5G bands, WiFi 6, NavIC support, Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS (L1 + L5), USB Type-C and Bluetooth 5.2.
POCO F4 5G will be available in two colors – Nebula Green and Night Black and in three storage variants: 6GB+128GB at INR 27,999, 8GB+128GB at INR 29,999, and 12GB+256GB at INR 33,999.
