Amazon Should Launch New Kindle Fire In India At The Earliest

Electronics retailer in USA, Best Buy has started taking pre-orders for the new Kindle Fire tablets that online retail giant Amazon.com launched on Thursday. Other retails giants of USA like Staples and Office Depot also have plans to sell some of new Kindle variants by the end of September, 2012.

By launching new Kindle Fire tabelts with HD display and updating its existing Kindle Fire by increasing their performance and storge capacity and adding innovative features like Immersion Reading, X-Ray for movies and books etc, Amazon has made its puddings more sweeter by pricing its new offerings from starting price of $ 199.

Like Apple Inc., Amazon’s earlier Kindle Fire versions were not available in India for a long time and few of its models were made available in local currency only last month, when Amazon entered into an agreemetn with Indian retail chain Croma to sell their devices on exclusive basis here. New Kindle Fire with HD display will find good response in India as there prices seem to be ideally suitable for price sensitive market of India. Majority of consumers who intend to possess a good tablet can’t afford to have the luxury to buy expensive iPad or Galaxy tablets.

We were expecting that Google will target India with its Nexus tablet, but probably they have supply related issues and that could be one of the reason for ignoring Indian market for the time being, which has huge scope for good and budjet tablets. Although variery of economical local manufactured  tablets are availabale in India, but none of them have created a wow factor for Indian customers. They still look forward to own a budjet but performing tablet with rich contens and not just a hardware. This gap can be filled by Amazon, as they can not only provide good hardware but plethora of contents and ofcourse at mouth-watering prices.

It is hoped that this time Amazon will not disappoint Indian consumers and will release their new devices in India as early as possible. If need be, they can add on more retail chains or Indian online portals to sell their products, which will be quite willing to sell these hot selling devices.
