Asus has launched today their latest flagship Zenfone 6 as Asus 6Z in India. Asus had introduced Zenfone 6 in Spain last month. Due to High Court, Delhi order not to use Zen or Zenfone for Asus phones, Asus has renamed its phone as Asus 6Z.
On the specifications front, the Asus 6Z sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio having Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by
Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB of storage and alternatively with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage which can be extended up to 1TB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery with QuickCharge 4.0 fast charging.
The Asus 6Z is armed with motorized rotating camera module which has two cameras of
48MP with Dual LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor with features of Laser AF, EIS and secondary camera of 13MP with 125-degree ultra-wide lens, f/2.4 aperture. The rear cameras can be flipped to work as front cameras for taking selfies.
This phone boasts of dual five-magnet stereo speakers for delivering deep, rich and expansive stereo sound. These are driven by dual NXP smart amplifiers that ensure maximum volume. You will get premium earphones in the box which supports Hi-Res Audio.
This is Dual Sim supporting phone with dedicated slot for microSD card. This phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with layer of ZENUI 6. For security, this phone has fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. This phone offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS and USB Type-C etc. This phone has physical Smart Key on the side which can be customized to initiate popular actions, including Google Assistant tasks. Asus 6Z will be available in three variants of 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM for Rs. 31,999, for 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM for Rs. 34,999 and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM for Rs. 39,999 and will go on sale from June 26, 2019 on Flipkart.
The Asus 6Z will give strong challenge to OnePlus 7 series of phones.
