Oppo has launched today mid-range Oppo R15 Pro in R series in India after recently launching R17 Pro in December 2018. According to Oppo, the R15 Pro is their first device to be water resistant and has a glass back surface. It comes in Cosmic Purple & Ruby Red and will be available exclusively on Amazon.in for Rs. 25,990 from 9th January.
On the specifications front, the R15 Pro flaunts a 6.28-inch HD+ On-Cell OLED display (2280×1080 pixels) having an aspect ratio of 19:9 and notch design. This phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor, Adreno 512 GPU combined with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
For photography, this phone is armed with 20MP+16MP dual cameras in the rear with f/1.7 aperture. For selfies, it has a 20MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI beauty Technology 2.0 feature which enhances the accuracy of face recognition, and intelligently analysis the user in terms of gender, age, skin color, skin texture, face shape, and pupil characteristics.
For security, this phone has fingerprint sensor on the back and face recognition feature.
The R15 Pro is packed with 3430mAh battery with VOOC flash charging technology, which claims to give 2 hours talk time with 5 minutes of charging. This phone is also equipped with a NFC chip to make transitions more easy and convenient. This phone runs on Color OS 5.0 based on Oreo 8.0. This is Dual-SIM supporting phone and offers connectivity options of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G VoLTE etc.
