The GALAXY Grand 2, the successor of Galaxy Grand smartphone, which the South Korean giant had announced on 25th November, is set to be launched in India on 23rd December. We had informed our readers in our blog of 25th November that Galaxy Grand 2 will come to India in December, and now we have been informed that Samsung has organised an event in Mumbai for 23rd December, where this smartphone will be launched for Indian market. As per our estimate, this smartphone is expected to be priced around Rs. 20,000.
The GALAXY Grand 2 features a 5.2 inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels, and is powered by Quad Core 1.2GHz processor, coupled with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB Internal Memory, which can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD card. This phablet runs on Android Jelly Bean version 4.3, and is packed with 2,600mAh battery. As per Samsung, the battery will deliver up to 10 hours of playback and 17 hours of calls. Connectivity options on the Galaxy Grand 2 include WiFi, BlueTooth 4.0, GPS, and USB 2.0. The dimension of this device is 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm, and it weighs 163g.
