To make messaging more interesting and full of expresssions, Microsoft has announced the availability of Bollywood specific Mojis on its very popular Skype communication platform at an event in New Delhi. Mojis are short clips from popular Bollywood movies and TV shows Skype users can put directly into a Skype chat to make it more lively.
For Bollywood Mojis, Skype has partnered with Indian studios Yash Raj Films and ErosNow to develop custom Mojis for Skype users. In addition to the existing worldwide Mojis content, which were announced couple of weeks ago, the users can now use in Skype messages clips from their favorite Bollywood movies, such as DilwaleDulhania Le Jayenge, Ra one, Dhoom 2 and 3, Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Devdas; and actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya RaiBachchan, Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh.
Skype has also introduced new India-Centric emoticons highlighting some of the food, gestures and daily expressions of Indians.

Both Bollywood Mojis and emoticons are now available worldwide in the features tab of the emoticon picker on Skype for Windows desktop, Mac, iOS, Android and Skype for Web.
According to Microsoft, Skype is used by more than 300 million people and businesses every month to make free video and voice calls, send files, video and instant messages. Skype is available in 32 languages and is one of the fastest growing voice communications offerings worldwide.
