Sony’s new series of Xperia X and XA smartphones are going to debut in India in the month of June. Sony India has started pre-registration of its much awaited “X” series smartphones, Xperia X & XA at Sony mobile website. Sony has not disclosed the prices of these phones and exact availability schedule. These two phones plus Xperia X Performance were unveiled in MWC in Barcelona in the month of February. Their is no word when Xperia X Performance will arrive in India.
The Xperia X features a 5 inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Triluminos display. The Xperia X is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 64-bit Hexa-core 650 processor combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage in Single SIM version and 64GB of internal storage in Dual SIM variant, expandable to 200GB via microSD card. It is equipped with a 23 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor. The rear camera has pulse LED flash and predictive hybrid autofocus. This phone houses a powerful 13 MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. This phone is packed with 2620mAh battery. This phone also incorporates fingerprint sensor.
The Sony Xperia XA features a 5 inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with Mobile Bravia engine 2. It is driven by a MediaTek Helio P10, 64 bit Octa Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage extendable to 200GB. It is equipped with a 13 MP main camera with Exmor RS sensor. This camera also boasts of hybrid autofocus and LED flash. On the front, their is an 8MP camera. This phone gets its juice from 2300mAh battery.
The Xperia X and XA comes in four colors – Graphite Black, White, Lime Gold and Rose Gold. Both the phones run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and supports 4G LTE networks.
