The popular Chinese brand Xiaomi has announced three affordable Redmi 4 smartphones in China. The Redmi 4 series is successors to the popular Redmi 3 smartphone line up and comprises of Redmi 4 (Standard Edition), Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 Pro. In China these phones are priced US$ 100, $70 and $130 respectively. All the phones support 4G VoLTE and run on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Going by the track record of Xiaomi, these three devices will hit the Indian market most probably in the month of December as this market has embraced Xiaomi products quite well.
Specifications of Redmi 4 Standrad Edition:

The Redmi 4A is economical version of the the Redmi 4 – Standard Edition. It has same display, RAM and ROM capacity as of Redmi 4. It also has same camera specifications. But this phone is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with the Adreno 308 GPU and is packed with 3,120 mAh battery.
The Redmi 4 Pro is the most expensive of all the new variants. It comes with 5 inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz and is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It has internal configuration fo 3GB of RAM and 32GB ROM which is expandable to 128GB. Rest of the features of this phone are exactly as of Redmi 4 Standard Edition.
