MusicStopper: Exit Music Player Or Radio Player After A Set Time Period

There are time when you forget to switch off the music player on your mobile phone while listening to music and/or for some other reason the music or the radio continues to play on your mobile phone. When such a thing happens your battery bears the burden and dies out quickly. In order to avoid such a thing, Masmil, a developer built a mobile application for Symbian S60v5 and Symbian^3 devices called MusicStopper.

MusicStopper is a small application which has an installation size of just under 350 KB (on phone memory or memory card). The functionality is same as the name of the application i.e It stops the music player or the Radio after a set time automatically. Moreover the the music player and the Radio player application’s are closed as well in other terms the music isn’t paused rather completely closed. You have an option to hide the application which is of great help as it continues to run in the background and monitor the time left to exit the music player/Radio player. Adding to all this the application MusicStopper closes itself along with the music player or the radio player.

Personally, I found this application of great importance as I do forget to close the music player many a times. Currently MusicStopper is available for Symbian^1 (S60v5 i.e Nokia 5230, 5233, 5800, N97 mini, 5250, 5530, C6, X6, Samsung i8910, Sony Ericsson Satio, Sony Ericsson Vivaz (Pro) ) and Symbian^3 (Nokia N8, C6-01, C7, E7). You can download the latest version via MusicStore Ovi Link or directly from it’s offficial blog here.
