One of the notable feature of Optimus Vu is its 5″ inch screen size. At this launch in India, LG emphasized on the phablet 4:3 aspect ratio, allowing the device to play all standard videos without stretching, re-sizing the video and a wider screen. The 5″ inch IPS panel display that comes with 550 nits brightness and 1024 x 768 pixel resolution means that the screen is bright and offers very high resolution with a very good viewing angle! Adding a 4:3 aspect ratio as against industry standard 16:9 ratio, Optimus Vu offers more screen space and essentially no bands or hidden details thus more viewing space for your documents, websites, images and videos.
I did get a chance to view a full length HD feature film (Wrath Of Titans) and I must say, the viewing experience was awesome! Plus the Dolby Digital support further increases the audio experience. I just loved the screen dimensions, after all the more the working space, the better it is 😉
