In 3 days of using Optimus Vu as a daily driver, I have been satisfied to a certain extent. In terms of phone usage, nor once I faced any lag or phone slowing down. Everything was smooth, from app switching to first time app access, video (full HD) to mp3 playback. No complaints whatsoever. Quad core served me well.
As far as battery performance is concerned being a heavy user, with push enabled for pletheora of applications and another bunch of them running in background and wifi enabled for majority of time, Optimus Vu was able to serve for almost 13 hours at a stretch on a single charge. Not the best of battery backup but considering heavy usage, I am sure for a casual user, this backup will easily go up to 18 hours.
What irked me was it’s non-removable battery. You just can’t carry an alternative battery for extra juice. I can’t understand the logic of providing mediocre 2080 mAh battery capacity and not allowing user to change it.
